Closing Expired Accounts

The Close Expired Accounts To Credit Card tab allows the user to revoke or close membership of all expired accounts as of the current system date and process any dues or charges of the account, provided the credit card details have been added to the account. The Automatically Charge Credit Card at the Time Of Billing option in the Credit Card Information (Club Membership Info à Club Membership Info à Credit Card Information) tab must be selected for the system to process dues.

On clicking Process, all expired accounts will be closed. If there are outstanding dues, a batch with individual transactions for membership dues and minimum balance will be created in the Transaction Maintenance screen. 

After the account closure process is complete, the system displays a success message along with the number of expired accounts processed.

The Latest Activity pane on the right side of the screen displays the following details:

• The date and time when the expired accounts were last processed from this screen.

• The number of expired accounts that were last processed.
