Credit Card Payments for Specific Transactions

The Credit Card Payment Process screen allows the user to make a debit or credit payment towards a specific transaction in the account. All active customer A/R accounts with credit card details added are displayed under the Member A/R Accounts pane, and the user can view the transactions in the account by selecting a date in the Transaction Prior to/Including field. By default, the current date is selected, and transactions in the selected accounts are listed in the Credit Card Payment Process grid in the screen.

In addition, users can pay for multiple transactions that belong to the same batch or transactions that belong to different accounts.

Perform the following steps to make a payment for the A/R account:

Select a date from the Transaction Prior to/Including field and click Search. By default, the current date is displayed in the field and all customer accounts that are in the Active status on or before the selected date are listed in the Member A/R Accounts pane.

Select or search for the preferred account to which the payment must be made and click Proceed. The user can also select multiple accounts from the pane. Records of accounts with pending due amount are displayed in the Credit Card Payment Process grid.

Select the account to which payment must be made and click Process.

On clicking the account name of the member account, the user will be navigated to the Transaction Details screen, which displays all transactions made in that account.

Select the transactions for which the payment must be made and click Process. In addition, the user can make payments for the transactions that are future to the selected date.

The credit card is charged for the amount and a record is created in the Payment Maintenance screen.
