Guests Search

There are two ways to search for guest records in the Guest screen: Search and Advanced Search.

  • Search - allows users to search for guests by selecting the Guest Name or Phone# option and entering the corresponding value in the search bar. By default, the Guest Name option will be selected.

  • Advanced Search - Allows users to search for guests using any or all of the following search criteria; first name, last name, origin, segment 1, guest type, market channel, city, state, postal code, county, country, nationality, phone, social security number, A/R number, account number, email address, driver’s license plate, patron ID, and segment 2. In addition, users can also search using the options listed under the Additional Search Information drop-down list.

By default, all the options listed above are available for search. However, the Configure option in the Advanced Search allows users to customize the search by adding, removing, rearranging any search criteria.

Users can use the Active option to search only the active records and the Archive option to search only the archived guest records. When users select both the Active and Archive options, all guest records in Versa will be included in the search.

If the Common Guest Profile feature is enabled at a property, users can use the Platform Guest Search flag to retrieve the guest records that failed during the guest sync process. By default, this will be disabled.

  • When enabled, any guest records that failed to sync during the guest sync process will also be retrieved if there are records matching the entered search criteria.

  • When disabled, any guests record that failed to sync during the guest sync process will not be retrieved.
